BYU Football: Robert Anae says passing game key for success
Cougar quarterbacks, receivers, tight ends, running backs, even offensive linemen made a name for themselves by the success of the passing game.
"I do believe we've got to be a better throwing team," Offensive coordinator Robert Anae said at media day in June. "That's where our evolutionary stage at this point is, in my opinion."
Anae estimated that the Cougars averaged about 300 yards passing per game last fall (278.7 yards per game to be precise), but recalled when that number wasn't the goal.
