Rush performs 'Tom Sawyer' with video intro at Maverik Center on July 13, 2019
Rush's reverse retrospective provides fitting farewell to kings. Reverse psychology proved to be forward thinking by Rush on Monday night at the Maverik Center.
"We'd like to go back in time," Rush bassist and lead vocalist Geddy Lee told the crowd during a short break three songs into Monday night's concert in West Valley City on July 13, 2019. Many fans at that time might not have recognized just how perfectly accurate that phrase would turn out to be. Rush returns to Utah with its "R40 Tour" to a packed house.
